SIAM has been closely working with the Ministry of Finance on issues related to taxation policies and procedures impacting the Indian Auto Industry. The Ministry has accepted many recommendations and issued clarifications, based on the submissions made by SIAM. As per SIAM estimates, the Indian Auto Industry also contributes more than Rs 3.25 lac crore to the GST Revenue of the Government which translates to about 15% of the total GST Revenue Collection.
